The Short Version
This school is run by Radiant Meatball LLC (that's just me, Theresa). I collect the minimum I need to run your classes: your name, your email, and your course activity. I never see your full card number, I never sell your information, and you can ask me to correct or delete your data any time by emailing [email protected]. The longer version follows.
1. What I Collect
· Account information. When you sign up: your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted by Thinkific; I never see it).
· Purchase information. What you bought, when, and the order number. Payment card details go directly to the payment processor, not to me.
· Course activity. Which lessons you've started and completed, quiz results if a course has them, webinar registrations, and comments or questions you post.
· Messages. Anything you email me or submit through a form.
2. How I Use It
· To run the School: enrolling you, delivering course content, sending receipts and access details.
· To keep you posted on things you've bought: course updates, schedule changes for live sessions, replies to your questions.
· To send marketing email (new classes, newsletters) only if you've opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects access to courses you own.
· To understand how the School is used, so I can make the classes better.
3. Where Your Data Lives
The School is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. ("Thinkific"). Your data is stored through Thinkific's data storage, databases, and application, on secure servers behind a firewall. 4. Payments
Purchases are processed by Thinkific Payments, powered by Stripe. Payment data is encrypted and handled under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your card number goes to the processor, never to me, and transaction data is kept only as long as needed to complete your purchase. Stripe's privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy
5. Who I Share It With (Spoiler: Not Many)
· Service providers who help me run the School (Thinkific for hosting, Stripe for payments, my email service for messages), and only what they need to do their jobs.
· Legal requirements: if the law requires me to disclose something, I will.
· I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
Some providers may be located in a different country than you. If so, your information may be subject to the laws of that country while it's in their hands.
6. Cookies and Analytics
Like most websites, the School uses cookies: small files that help keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and show me anonymous information about how the site is used. You can set your browser to warn you about cookies or block them, though parts of the School (like staying logged in) may not work without them. If analytics or advertising tools are in use, they may set their own cookies; you can opt out of targeted advertising at https://optout.aboutads.info
7. Your Choices and Rights
· Access, correct, or update your information any time from your account settings, or by emailing me.
· Unsubscribe from marketing email with one click, any time.
· Ask me to delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. I'll confirm and handle it promptly, except for records I'm required to keep (like purchase records for taxes).
8. Age
The School is intended for adults. By using it, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.
9. Security
I rely on Thinkific's and Stripe's industry-standard security (encryption in transit, secure storage, PCI-DSS compliance for payments) and take reasonable precautions with anything in my own hands. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but your data is treated with care.
10. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. If the changes are significant, I'll flag them so you're aware of what's different. If the School is ever acquired or merged with another company, your information may transfer to the new owner so your courses keep working; you'd be notified.
